Hi, welcome to our website Capturing Conservation!

We are conservation biologists, and PhD research candidates from Australia. 

This project came about from our passion for photography and threatened species conservation, hence the name capturing conservation! We will be sharing photos of many of Australia’s animal species, including those that are uncommon, and not often shared in science communication. 

We will also aim to raise awareness about Australia’s threatened species including:

(1) Reasons why they are threatened

(2) Current conservation initiatives

(3) And ways that you can help out too!
